Get your move on! Not only a fun and social way to stay active, dance also increases strength, develops stamina and flexibility, improves coordination, and promotes self-expression and self-confidence.

In order to attend a dance class, we require sign-up at least 24 hours in advance.  Please call or come in person to notify us that you will be attending one of our dance classes.

Dance with me: 3-6 year olds on Thursday’s from 4-4:30pm. 

Let’s get moving! Learn the basics of dance in an encouraging and fun environment. Class is designed for children who want to dance but are not quite old enough to join a ballet or tap class. Instructor uses games, songs and stories to teach balance, rhythm and foster creativity. Class will conclude with a parachute surprise!

Hip Hop: 6-9 year olds on Thursday’s from 5-5:45pm.  

This style of dance requires high energy!  This class is an introduction for students who have minimal Hip Hop experience. Level 1 focuses on building a foundation of basic Hip Hop movements, stamina, and short combinations of popular music.

Meet Our Instructor: Corina Gomez

Corina Gomez, a image1graduate of San Jose State University, with a degree in Kinesiology is our dance instructor. Corina comes to us with over 20 years of dance experience. Immersed in dance since the age of 2, Corina has an eclectic dance background composed of hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and lyrical. Corina has instructed students ranging from toddlers to retired adults. With her passion for Kinesiology, she is currently a consultant for Dance Medicine at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, working on projects to acclimate dancers back to their craft after injury. Corina is studying to be a Physical Therapist and hopes to incorporate her extensive dance background into her technique as a DPT.
